Found out why the guards who were supposed to report for duty today didn't show up. Seems they hadn't been briefed on their new assignment - saw the local boffins wandering around, thought they'd been sent to a lunatic asylum by mistake. The guards who were on duty held them for questioning when they tried to leave without saying why they were here.
Still no details on the lightning rain. If something had happened to my brother I'd have been told, but just because he wasn't injured doesn't mean he's all right. |
